Only one week left before the start of the Sydney International Boat Show that will take place from the 1st to the 5th of August! SEAir will display its Flying Tender 5,5 on Darling Harbour – berth 63 – with their local representative Standen Marine. The vessel will be exhibited alongside the R28s RIB model from the Greek manufacturer Ribco. Such partnership is a first for SEAir and highlights the brand’s development on the high end day boat market.
The southern hemisphere largest boating event is highly anticipated by Australians and New Zealanders looking for their next boat before summer! It is also a major event for SEAir, as the interest is rapidly growing and the demonstrations have proven the perfect sea handling of the vessel on the New South Wales and Queensland waterways.
This model will feature the latest developments in electronic systems: CRIS (Constant Regulation Intelligent System), the electronic flight regulator developed by SEAir.
CRIS is the outcome of an extensive research and development work on foil automated regulation. From the data received by the GPS and the inertial unit, the algorithm defines the foil settings and engine trim that will result in the best combination of stability, comfort and safety! From take-off to landing, you handle steering and gas throttle, CRIS takes care of the the flight settings!
Experienced pilots will enjoy the possibility to switch off CRIS to find their own settings, and trim the foils manually according to their experience.
In the days following the show, sea trials will be organized in Sydney Harbour. Let’s get in touch to organize yours : https://www.facebook.com/SEAir.oceania
